Staff members were warm and accommodating when we encountered a room with a lingering smoke smell, promptly switching us to a more pleasant room. While the breakfast selection was limited to packaged breads and drinks, the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate offered near the entrance were a nice touch. However, be prepared for compact room sizes typical for the city, which might feel tight for two adults.

The staff were welcoming and genuinely appreciated my Halloween costume, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room exceeded my expectations in size, providing a comfortable space for my stay. I also loved the great city view that made mornings special. The availability of free coffee and other amenities added to the overall positive experience.

I loved being just a short walk away from Ueno Zoo to enjoy the beautiful park views, and the nearby Ameya-Yokocho market provided an incredible array of food and shopping options during my stay.

The mattress in my room was noticeably worn and uncomfortable. I also struggled with communication as some staff did not understand English well. On my last day, I was promised my forgotten umbrella would be kept for me, only to find it had disappeared and was replaced with someone else's.

The breakfast experience also consisted mainly of subpar bread with a frequently malfunctioning coffee machine, which can leave you wanting more. Additionally, room sizes are compact—two carry-on bags barely fit alongside even a minimal amount of floor space.

Great location just 5 mins from Ueno station. There’s a helpful laundry area and comfy beds. I loved the cozy small dining room on level 2!

the breakfast is just bread, which is kinda basic. but the staff were super friendly and helped with our bags, and the shower had great water pressure! plus, the location is just perfect for exploring tokyo! !
